Birthday Giveaway #5: Boutique Zekara

Today's giveaway is brought to you by Boutique Zekara.  I always love taking a drive out to the Valley to visit this boutique and have a chat with Donna.  This shop is one stop shopping!  They have shoes, clothes, accesories and Merle Norman costmetics!  You could buy an outfit and then have your makeup done for an evening out.  I also had a chance to chat with the lovely owner, Donna about her shop.

1.  How did you come up with the name Boutique Zekara?

The name Zekara comes from the letters of my children's names.

2.  What are some of the specialty items you carry?

Some Fashion lines we carry that are unique are Tricotto, Jack and Jane and Vitrine.  This company is based in Montreal and creates unique items that keep client coming back over and over again.  Their designs are pretty distinct 

Myka jewellery - Its interchangeable and very nice.  It is designed and made in Vancouver by a husband and wife team that have been doing this for 25years.

3. What is your favorite trend right now?

Favorite trend this season is the feminine ruffles and lace as well as the muted and pastel colors, especially the soft pink.

4. What is your favorite thing about birthdays?

 Favorite thing about Birthdays is that you get to spend time with family and friends.
